In the 1980s Marseille-born Corinne spent her teenage years (when not in school, where she was an unruly pupil) hanging out with friends around Cours Julien and in the Claridge. Then one day she went with a friend to record a song in a studio. Revelation! As a result, every radio station in the Marseille Provence region received an application, by phone or by letter, from a highly persuasive young woman who said her dream was to sort records and make coffee for the presenters – until she could move up the ladder. One of radio stations hired her on a trial basis, and she was soon on the other side of the mike. Her quick wit and communicative warmth charmed one and all. Her taste for field reporting took her right across the world – to China, where she was on the day of the Tiananmen massacre. Back home, her path crossed that of Christiane Chadal who was appointed, soon after, to head the France Bleu radio network. In 1992 Corinne joined France Bleu Provence, where she presents programmes focusing on "exceptional women", "fantastic women" and "portraits of women". Her idea is to highlight the fertile input women make to every area of working life. It's not only men who can sing women's praises!
