It’s well known for its memorable after-work and evening parties, but few people know about its green credentials. It was the first Nice beach restaurant to earn the Clé Vert eco-certificate. The Beau Rivage beach belongs to the hotel of the same name. It’s beautifully organised, with an intimate lounge area for sipping cocktails and enjoying world food at any time of day and a restaurant area bedecked in wood, cane and rattan. The flavoursome food ranges from traditional Nice specialities to creative fare (shredded octopus with lemon peel and coriander, courgette flowers stuffed with local goat cheese, sea bass from Cannes bay, Piedmont chicken supreme). And then there’s the well-being space with steam bath, massage, body scrub and Thalgo face and body care products, in a booth or right there on your sun lounger.
