Nice’s museum event of the autumn is at the Terra Amata archaeology museum. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the site’s excavation and the 40th of the museum’s opening, so to do justice to this double celebration, the museum closed briefly in order to now unveil a revamped museography incorporating the most recent discoveries and delivering an entertaining interactive visit. Discover in detail how the first inhabitants of this region lived in their environment, and humanity’s first major revolution: the domestication of fire. The new layout also includes a Prehistory-inspired Raymond Moretti exhibition.
