To celebrate this birthday the hotel is organising some unmissable events this summer, a great opportunity to (re)discover one of the Principality's most notable tourism facilities.

Four hectares of gardens over the water, 11 floors, 334 guestrooms and suites, three restaurants, a bar, a casino, a heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool, a fitness suite, a lagoon, a Cinq Mondes spa... From its opening in October 2005, the Bay was destined to be the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer's latest star attraction. Standing on a headland just a step from Jimmy'z and the Salle des Etoiles, the majestic building proudly flaunts its neo-classical architecture punctuated by arcades and colonnades. Around the lagoon lined with pale sand – an innovative first in Europe!
– stretch gardens designed by Jean Mus and planted with palm trees, ornamental broad-leaf trees, creepers, olive trees, Aleppo pines, cypresses
etc. The interior architecture by Pierre-Yves Rochon combines contemporary styling with new trends; contrasting with the exterior, it plays on volumes and perspectives.

Summer Dining: hurrah for live cooking!
Since the beginning of the year this wonderful setting has witnessed numerous anniversary festivities, with the Blue Bay's chef, Marcel Ravin, setting the tone in February when the famed Michelin guide awarded him his first star. To mark it, he has concocted a Star Menu that's being served until the end of this October, accompanied by the finest 2005 wines selected by the head sommelier. You can also try the Star Cocktail featuring rum and raspberry, specially created by the Blue Gin Bar's team. On Friday nights in July and August there's Summer Dining on the terrace of the Las Brisas summer restaurant; the ambience is "live cooking" in the tropics with the award-winning chef demonstrating his skills in Brazilian, Argentinian or Caribbean cuisine, plus dancers performing salsa, merengue and tango. Some birthday party!
