Twelve years after opening a first showroom in Paris, the world leader in high-end electrical appliances has set up shop on the Côte d’Azur. Discover a world of design and excellence made in Germany.


 
"Immer Besser"*. Miele's famous motto has never been so aptly illustrated as by the brand's latest interactive showroom opened in Saint-Laurent-du-Var. A world first, in a location that directors Markus Miele and Reinhard Zinkann chose because of our region's popularity: "The Riviera draws thousands of tourists and has one of the strongest economies in France."


Try before you buy
See how the new G 6000 range works by watching cooking demonstrations, try out the Fashion Master ironing system, make yourself a cappuccino with the latest C5 coffee machine that grinds its own beans… the entire world of Miele at customers' fingertips. "We wouldn't dream of buying a car without driving it, and that's the way it should be with electrical appliances. We were adamant that this platform should be both a showcase for our expertise and an interactive exhibition space."


Spotlight on innovation
The Riviera Miele Center's star products right now include first sight of the G 6000 collection, a new generation of cookers and dishwashers. "For the first time Miele has developed a line of products whose design has been coordinated perfectly," Markus Miele and Reinhard Zinkann are keen to point out. These are smart appliances too, meaning able to communicate with each other using the Con@ctivit system; for example, the extractor hood comes on automatically when you switch on the hob.


Longevity, reliability and quality
Founded in 1899 by Carl Miele and Reinhard Zinkann, this independent company today managed by the fourth generation of those families posted a record turnover of €3.15 billion last year. For the founders' great-grandsons, its success is due to "the longevity and reliability of its appliances plus a continuous focus on innovation. We're the only brand that guarantees all our appliances for 20 years." This spring in Germany, Miele was named all-time best brand by international market research leader GFK.
