Nuances is another good addition in the Port district—a deli and restaurant reinventing the gastronomy codes. Chef Allan Lalevee, a former collaborator of Pierre Sang in Paris, is in the kitchen. The concept: give the chef carte blanche and allow yourself to be surprised. Each week, the chef prepares a gastronomic menu of 4 or 6 dishes based on seasonal products—mainly local. Just let them know of any allergies or specific dietary requirements and be convinced. The grocery shop offers a selection of exceptional local and homemade products. So you can continue the Nuances experience, even in your own kitchen.
