New haunts in Nice for wine lovers
La Route des Vins, a wine merchant in Marseille and several towns in the Var, has been operating in Nice since 1 December, replacing Amour Vinum in three town centre shops. Olivier and François intend to expand the range of wines available in the shops, ultimately with wines and spirits from all French regions. And they present a selection of everyday wines as well as fine wines and Grands Crus. Olivier, an eighth-generation wine-grower with several properties in Provence, is also very involved in the region’s wine offering and promoting the Bellet vineyards. The arrival in the Alpes-Maritime capital of this leading Southern French regional wine cellar holds the promise of some great discoveries for wine lovers!
