Pablo Picasso-Aldo Crommelynck : la route du cuivre

Pablo Picasso, Le peintre et son modèle examinant son portrait, 1965.
As part of the events laid on to mark the fiftieth anniversary of Picasso’s death, the new cultural space in Mougins – in the old town hall – presents an exhibition on the works the Cubist master produced with the engraver Aldo Crommelynck. In addition to the ceramics he created in Vallauris at the Madura workshop, Picasso worked with this specialist, who had settled in Rue du Badier in 1963, to produce several hundred engravings, 48 of which are presented here.
