Although the self-portraits of this French photographer, a graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris, are already part of the Centre Georges Pompidou collections, she has developed a documentary approach since the naughties, publishing a book on striptease and its pioneers in America. Between 2009 and 2019, she has been working on a long-term project involving stills and moving images of the American and Mexican border, a symbol of the refusal of the other, of a struggle between individuals and also between genders. It glances between vibrant colours and twilight tones.
