The Si-li-cien clan

Potter and curator Stéphane Montalto has recreated the ceramic decorations of several Belle Epoque villas on the Côte d’Azur. For this event, he brought together 21 French ceramicists of Italian origin or from Liguria, who set the standard in the profession. The exhibition, conceived in partnership with the Ecole Municipale d’Arts Plastiques in Menton, where such skills are acquired, recalls the history of earthenware in the town. It also includes design by Claude Aïello and works by Côte d’Azur visual artists such as JP Racca Vammerisse and Marc Alberghina.
