Must we think of exhibitions as frozen moments in time, disconnected from the movement that underpins our lived experience? On the contrary, it is an act of bravery to keep changing an exhibition or dismantling it at will. Nowadays we are repeatedly told that “Art is life!” With this in mind, Le Narcissio invites us on this joyous experience, in the form of an exhibition that began this spring and that will evolve with successive interventions. We are put in the position of a meerkat, trying to describe our surroundings on land and in the air. The exhibition, entitled Les étoiles, des mammifères, des nombres (The stars, mammals, numbers), will be activated by invitations, and will provide a platform for sharing concerts, performances and readings. The basic theme is open source, or how, in a world in crisis, we can gain autonomy in food, travel and furnishings, and create a shared utopian, pragmatic space. This effervescent exhibition mixes groups of artists with game theory and science. The idea is to reflect on the way art enables us to rethink how we live together, from a political, social and human point of view. In other words, it is an invitation to create freely.
