All Children of Cézanne: Visit the Father of Modern Art

All Children of Cézanne: Visit the father of modern art.

On Tuesday, July 8, COTE MAGAZINE brought together partners, artists and friends for a unique evening at the Bastide of Jas de Bouffan, historic home of Paul Cézanne, as part of the exhibition "All children of Cézanne".

In this historic venue, where Cézanne painted some of his most important works, guests were able to discover the unique creations of ten contemporary artists invited by COTE MAGAZINE to engage with the legacy of the Aix-en-Provence master. Pascal Guibert aka Lilly, SØMA, François Noël, Audrey Le Moustarder, Arpe, Katrine Funderud, Nicolas Herbé, Christophe Fort, Cédric Bouteiller, and Brems shared their vision, a mix of homage and reinterpretation.

Beyond the exhibition, this evening was a truly convivial and emotional moment, in a rare heritage setting, enhanced by the light of the Aix twilight.

We warmly thank our partners for their commitment and loyalty:
Range Rover Marseille – Aix – Toulon, Barnes Immobilier, Air France, Helen Traiteur and the 5* Hotel le Pigonnet.

A big thank you also to those who helped make this evening an unforgettable moment:

- Eventek, for furniture and scenography.

- So Live, for the delicate lighting of the works in the country house and the garden.
- Provence Experiences, for cocktails inspired by Provence.
- Castelas Mill, for tasting exceptional olive oils.
- Saint Hilaire Castle, for the wines served throughout the evening and for the final draw with a spectacular gift: 9 collector magnums, dressed in famous works by Paul Cézanne.

- Distillery and Estate of Provence, for local spirits and liqueurs.
- Perrier-jouët, for the champagne that accompanied the discussions until late in the evening.

- ESSCA, for making its parking lot available to our guests.

- Black Jewel, for caviar tasting.

An artistic and festive interlude, in the very place where Cézanne dreamed, created, and transmitted his vision to the world.
