Far from the glitz and glamour of Saint-Tropez, there's an 18th-century farmhouse nestled between vineyards and pine forest, on the road to the beaches. Les Moulins de Ramatuelle, owned by the Bellaveglia family for generations.
Behind a large wrought-iron gate, you'll discover a generous Provençal cuisine, served at large round tables facing the stone bastide draped in climbing ivy. Mulberry, quince, pepper, cypress, apricot, olive, and palm trees perfume the terrace with the scent of holidays. For an aperitif, guests gather, glass in hand, around the small fountain and the pétanque courts.
Romain and Simon Bellaveglia, accompanied by their friend Mathieu, have refined the address with understated elegance. Beachgoers at the end of the day, discreet businessmen, local families, and groups of friends mingle there. One of the last bastions of the "real" Saint-Tropez.
