After a 47th edition dedicated to records, the 2026 selection promises something new in Monaco with a flying trapeze act featuring sixteen artists performing on two rails – a rare number! – or even a juggler who juggles with his feet. We will witness an extraordinary balancing act, where in the hand-to-hand acrobatics, the artist's partner is a robot; a duo between Man and machine “,” recounts Urs Piltz, a true living memory of the event, having been appointed artistic director by Prince Rainier himself at the time. Founded in 1974, the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival blends tradition and modernity, showcasing acrobatics, juggling, and BMX.
