Fort Royal

After a costumed parade through the streets of Cannes, participants boarded a boat for Île Sainte-Marguerite for talks about the famous prisoner. Conceived by Claude Nicole Martinot of the Cannes en Héritage association, the event came alive in the evening with a play written by Bastien Miquel for two actors. The performance, set to a rock version of Vivaldi's Four Seasons , bridged the gap between heritage and the arts.

Following a fancy-dress parade through the streets of Cannes, guests will board a boat to Sainte-Marguerite Island, where talks about the famous prisoner are scheduled to take place.
