A boutique with brands you won't find anywhere else—that's the promise of Cédric Capron's new concept store, which has teamed up with Pascaline Smets, a Belgian artistic director known for her proven taste in fashion and contemporary art. Mood features all sorts of unusual objects, like these Cavancha surprise soaps that contain cars, dinosaurs, or Playmobil. Brand-wise, there's Destree jewelry, Bearbrik art toys for older kids, and Sporty & Rich accessories. Decor-wise, there's Marbellous lighting, J et Vista Alegre sun-drenched tableware, and Ilex Studio avocado vases. Events punctuate the space once or twice a month.
