The idea is original for a family trip back in time to the Middle Ages. Especially since the tournament is organized by history enthusiasts, under the auspices of the international medieval combat association Magna Carta. In each country, clubs reenact battles as they would have been fought in the period, showcasing top-notch medieval battle reenactments.
In the Fontvieille big top, clubs from France, Spain, and Italy gather for a highly competitive buhurt tournament, with blunted weapons, of course. For the public, it's a chance to witness a grand spectacle featuring period armor and costumes. So, who will triumph on this day steeped in chivalry?
