Toulon’s dolce vita. Marco Casola’s heart is in Naples and his passion is everyday Italian food based on market produce and cooked to perfection. The self-taught chef opened his first restaurant, La Fabbrica Di Marco, in Toulon in 2013. His smart new beach restaurant serves unusual pizzas and a wide range of Italian dishes in a relaxed and unpretentious ambience. Generous helpings and some avant-garde ideas, like lemon pizza (his speciality) and rosé wine pizza. He enjoys using different flavours to moisten his dough and blending flours to give a light, digestible pizza. “To me, cooking is a game,” says Marco.
