Anne-Gaëlle Wolff, born and raised in Belfort, earned her Master’s in business law in Besançon. The then did a 3-year course on non-French legal systems in Aix-en-Provence. Becoming interested in alternative conflict resolution methods, she gained a professional mediator’s diploma in 2011.

She worked as a business lawyer in Auxerre for three years, then in a law firm in Avignon for nine years. In these jobs she rubbed shoulders with shop managers, self-employed people and firms of all sizes, acquiring plenty of experience in business disposals and the legal and economic aspects of mass retailing. She founded Wimidis in April 2016. Her idea was to inform and advise companies on their legal and regulatory obligations and how to comply with them. In each case she prefers a negotiated solution to a legal one. She also works on prevention. Her liking for dialogue and negotiation led her to become an official legal mediator for the Aix-en-Provence and Nîmes courts of appeal. Her human approach leads to close ties and relations of trust with her clients. It has also led her to take an active role in networks where she can help business people with her legal knowledge and experience as a mediator.

Her dedication to helping others and her involvement in economic and social structures were key factors in the decision to bestow the FCE Leadership Award on Anne-Gaëlle Wolff.a

Entreprise WIMIDIS

The law firm Wimidis is a member of the Avignon bar and also acts as a professional mediator. Its work encompasses company law, corporate engineering, contract law, commercial law, leasing (homes and business premises), the law for struggling businesses, alternative dispute resolution, pre-litigation cases, company taxation and more.

Professional mediation is one of Wimidis’ particularities. Mediation helps to bring disputes to a quick resolution, unknots apparently inextricable situations and enables calm discussion. Professional mediation is needed when negative emotions blur people’s reasoning and make dialogue impossible. As sole intermediary with a fast procedure for consensual solutions, Wimidis cuts costs for all parties.
