Christian: My first encounter with the Luberon with my family two decades ago left an indelible mark. This region has become the lifestyle choice that appeals to me. Although we could have settled anywhere, we saw exceptional potential in the Luberon, with its perfect balance between quality of life and stimulating professional projects.  Eugenia: I’m originally from Russia, and after building my career in international banking, I made Monaco my home in 2008—with a short stint in the United States. I discovered the Luberon thanks to Christian, a region where I’ve found my equilibrium, so much more than just a place for my floral compositions. I trained as a florist in London and Paris during COVID-19, which added a new dimension to my personal and entrepreneurial adventure in the Luberon. The Luberon has proved to be a fertile breeding ground for entrepreneurship, with something for everyone, from newcomers to long-established Provençals. Our travels have inspired concepts that we plan to adapt to our region. A rare form of emulation is emerging, with neo-Provençals ardently defending their homeland. The Luberon, unlike the Côte d’Azur, is much more than a place of retreat, offering plenty of scope to unleash creativity away from urban constraints. Post-confinement, in 2020, an impulse unleashed our aspirations, cutting all ties with our Parisian lives. Domaine d’Egenia embodies the convergence of our aspirations, becoming a forum for exchange, creativity, sharing culinary delights, exploring the arts, and celebrating. Our attachment to music, concerts, exhibitions, and art is evident in everything we do. Eugenia organises events and arts festivals with original artists in a 200 m2 indoor space and three outdoor areas that can accommodate up to 500 people without detracting from the place’s charm. We embrace the unexpected, always seeking to surprise and innovate. Take, for example, this summer’s programme with DJ Pashka, who we met at the exclusive London club The Tent at the End of the Universe. The event attracted 350 people who stayed until four in the morning, illustrating our commitment to offering memorable experiences.

This idyllic location, perfect for weddings and business events, is steeped in the very essence of Provence, with its cypress trees, lavender, olive groves, old stone mas (traditional farmhouse), vineyards, century-old plane trees, pétanque court, spa, and 20-metre swimming pool. The estate offers an authentic Provençal experience, with four suites ranging between 50 and
70 m2, four self-contained flats and a 130 m2 stone mazet (small stone house).

The projects don’t stop at Egenia. Christian has plans to relaunch a golf course between Saint-Saturnin and Roussillon, combining sport, well-being, and unusual accommodation between Saint-Saturnin and Roussillon.
