The exhibition "Line and Breath" brings together the artistic encounter between the precise and architectural line of Laurent Minguet and the organic and luminous breath of Hortense Bataille, in a poetic and contrasting dialogue. Together, they offer visitors a crossed vision of the world: between stylized urban landscapes and sensitive evocations of nature. Hortense Bataille, a painter from Marseille, draws on the energy of the elements to create vibrant and sensitive canvases. Acrylic, dry pastel, watercolor and collage blend in a free and intuitive writing, nourished by the sea, light and plant forms. Laurent Minguet, an artist and designer from Toulouse, takes hold of the architecture of large cities with a graphic rigor and finesse. On wood, his works combine hyperrealism and abstraction, where pure lines are disturbed by organic, almost living drips.
