Between poetry, performance and thrills, L'Entre2 BIAC 2026 It has established itself as one of the major cultural events of the winter. From January 15 to February 15, 2026, the circus arts festival will take over Marseille and the entire Aix-Marseille-Provence metropolitan area, offering a whole month dedicated to contemporary circus creation. This highly anticipated event extends the momentum of the International Circus Arts Biennial and confirms the circus's place as a major artistic discipline.
Organized by Archaos, the National Circus Center, the festival presents an ambitious, accessible, and decidedly emotionally resonant program. For four weeks, big tops, theaters, and cultural venues become playgrounds for companies from France and around the world, blending acrobatics, dance, visual performance, and evocative storytelling. Entre2 BIAC distinguishes itself by its ability to create a dialogue between artistic excellence and broad appeal, attracting both enthusiasts and the simply curious.
This 2026 edition builds on its popular success—more than 25,000 spectators at the previous edition—while affirming a strong commitment to regional expansion. From Marseille to Aix-en-Provence, from Aubagne to Port-de-Bouc, via Vitrolles, Berre-l'Étang, and Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône, the circus extends its reach far and wide, engaging with audiences in a variety of formats and sometimes unexpected venues.
Beyond the performances, L'Entre2 BIAC champions a deeply human and socially engaged dimension. The festival values transmission, arts education, and inclusion, particularly through projects dedicated to children and young people, but also through its active support for creation and emerging artists. A vibrant circus, in touch with its time, that explores the body, the collective, and our relationship to the world.
