This event is gaining momentum. The 2022 edition will gather an ecosystem of almost 250 people representing the sector’s most important players (entrepreneurs and startups, industrialists, investors, promoters, marina developers, architects and other yachting industry players) in search of innovative solutions to promote the development of virtuous marinas and support the new generation of yachting. Many marinas face challenges such as implementing efficient electrical systems, using clean energy to avoid the need for diesel generators, the practical application of existing rules, better management of grey and black water or even drinking water, and recycling. Marinas are micro-cities that incorporate hotels, restaurants and other businesses, with a market potential of billions of euros worldwide.
The Monegasque event is organised by M3, a Monegasque company that specialises in the management of marinas and yacht harbours, in partnership with Blumorpho, an expert in the positive impact open innovation ecosystem. Its mission is to help develop systems capable of anticipating the carbon footprint of infrastructures, data capture and analysis solutions that lead to savings of up to 20% in water consumption and 50% in energy consumption, and intelligent infrastructure maintenance systems, particularly for leak detection. The first edition introduced startups such as Green City Organisation. The concept of the second edition extends to architects, existing marinas and those under development.
