The Mougins showroom* has been refurbished to form a new backdrop valorising the marque's premium standards.
More than just a decor update, this is about infusing new dynamics into the marque worldwide via what's dubbed the Volvo Retail Experience. So step this way into an über-Scandi ambience as created by design icons such as Hans Wegner's Shell chairs, along with favourite Scandinavian materials (wood, frosted glass etc.) and those signature organic lines. The resulting ultra-welcoming lounge feel makes a radical break with what we're used to at dealerships. But as we said, this is no simple style exercise, rather a desire to harmonise the marque's showrooms so they reflect a premium product offering, additionally scheduled to renew completely over the next two years. This new lease of life for the carmaker, initiated by last year's XC90 SUV, continues in 2017 with the launch of the V90 Cross Country and the XC60 and XC40, models confirming the marque's field-leading position in on-board technology. Proof of that was delivered last September when Volvo Cars launched its Drive Me public trial in Gothenburg, giving residents an opportunity to test drive autonomous cars around the city.
