Hervé Langlais

After graduating in architecture, Langlais worked with architect Paul Andreu, notably on the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing and the Oriental Art Center in Shanghai. In 2006 he started LE LABO Design, which manufactures design lighting and furniture in industrial materials. He is presently artistic director of the Negropontes gallery in Paris, for which he selects one-off pieces and limited editions to create a collection in the spirit of the ensembliers of the 1930s-40s.
