In the shoes of a winemaker: Bud thinning workshop at Château de Crémat

On Saturday, April 18, 2026 and Saturday, April 25, 2026, the Château de Crémat will introduce you to bud removal.

Bud removal is one of the most important steps in the winemaking cycle. It involves removing unwanted shoots. This technique ensures the vine's longevity and the quality of its grapes for the upcoming harvest.

Equipped with a hat and a pair of gloves, you will be initiated by Alain Valles, cellar master of Domaine de Toasc and Château de Crémat.
With 26 years of experience, Alain will reveal all the secrets of the production process, from vine to bottle.

The experience will be followed by a tasting of three of the estate's wines. An immersive experience blending tradition and innovation, respecting the terroir and history of this exceptional wine-growing region.
