IBELIV was already known for its hand-crocheted raffia bags . For the fall season, the brand is taking its expertise a step further and launching an unexpected first: a collection entirely dedicated to leather , which also marks its entry into the autumn/winter season. Still under the artistic direction of its radiant founder, Liv Ramanandraibe, the brand retains its core identity—artisanal craftsmanship and hand-worked materials—but is radically shifting its focus.
This time, we're off to India, where cowhide and goatskin are braided in family workshops, using hides sourced from tanneries that practice vegetable tanning. On offer: 12 silhouettes and 4 very autumnal shades (Black, Choco, Mocha, and Tan ), ranging from mini evening bags to larger sizes, with some of the Maison's iconic designs transposed from raffia to leather. A rather clever way to evolve the IBELIV signature without losing sight of its eleven years of creative heritage.
