The Cap d’Antibes Beach Hotel continues to seduce the epicureans of this world. Nicolas Navarro, aged 37, has taken over the kitchens of its Les Pêcheurs gastronomic restaurant and Le Cap beach restaurant, an appetising challenge for a chef who spent 14 years working with the greatest, at the Plaza Athénée with Alain Ducasse and the Villa Belrose with Thierry Thiercelin. Until the end of October, a tasting menu marking the Relais & Châteaux group’s 60th anniversary is an excellent way to discover his Mediterranean-influenced cuisine lauding creativity and innovation. Plus the work of contemporary artists is hung in the restaurant, on the terraces and in the foyer. Until 25 September these include Jean-Antoine Hierro, Niçois by adoption, showing drawings, ceramics and bronzes on his favourite theme of the dress.
