On November 15, she will represent France at the Hearing Impaired Olympics. Margaux Bréjot, just 18 years old, is breaking the glass ceiling and overcoming her disability by becoming an outstanding athlete in the world of golf. To support and fund her efforts, the Opio-Valbonne Golf Resort is hosting "Beat the Pros," a charity tournament that brings together amateur golfers and professional players around Fair Unity, on October 11.
The endowment fund mobilizes two programs: "Les elles du sport" which supports young female talents, able-bodied or with disabilities, towards high performance and their retraining, while "Génération Inclusion" promotes sound accessibility via Auracast technology in sports infrastructures and raises awareness of hearing prevention.
The event, supported by two athletes, Lee-Anne Pace and Anne-Lise Caudal, begins with a 9-hole course and a cocktail reception on Friday, followed by a shamble tournament starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday. In the afternoon, Lee-Anne Pace leads a golf initiation for hearing-impaired children, and Anne-Lise Caudal challenges participants to a "Beat the Pro" before the awards ceremony and closing cocktail. Friday welcomes partners with an optional 9-hole course and a cocktail reception. Sunday allows for an additional round.
