Founded 25 years ago in Marseille, actoral is a project dedicated to contemporary writing. With a multidisciplinary program that blends theater, dance, visual arts, performance, music, film, and literature, actoral showcases and showcases the diversity and vitality of contemporary creation. Every fall, for three weeks, the actoral Festival invites more than two hundred French and international artists to Marseille to perform. In 2025, the actoral Festival and the Marseille association Montévidéo will unite to form a single entity under the name actoral. The programming and residencies offered by Montévidéo until now are now carried out by actoral throughout the year, for events designed as extensions of the festival. A program dedicated to literature continues to be rolled out every month with readings, meetings, and debates. Performance, dance, theater, literature, cinema, visual arts and DJ sets: three weeks of programming to discover the best of contemporary creation in Marseille.
