From November onwards, the valleys of the French Riviera are blanketed in mimosa yellow, before the autumn foliage takes over, with its shades of red and orange. Pierre Bonnard chose the South for its light. These landscapes with their captivating hues led him to reinvent his palette, and his painting style as well. This exhibition brings together canvases, drawings, and documents related to the landscapes of the Mediterranean and Le Cannet, where the artist lived, from his early works to the burst of color, which has become diffuse sensations, in his later creations.

Until 31 May 2026
