For more than ten years, Mr. Chou It has won over the entire region with its now-iconic cream puffs. Fifteen signature flavors — from vanilla caramel to lemon meringue, including Paris-Brest praline, apricot-rosemary or even chouquette chantilly — have made the house a true reference in the gourmet single-product category.
But behind the cabbage, a whole universe has been built: XXL creations for events, spectacular tiered cakes, number cakes, seasonal limited editions, and even a small selection of gourmet food.
For Christmas and New YearThe Marseille-based company unveils a highly anticipated new product: the Christmas Star, available in store and to order from the 1er december. A ephemeral collection conceived as a gastronomic centerpiece, where the cabbages become veritable edible jewels.
Four versions, four personalities:
Intense Chocolate : chocolate mousse, hazelnut crisp, mini choux pastries filled with a melting ganache.
The Paris-Brest revisited unlimited praline, light cream and small choux pastries filled with a runny center.
The Exotic : sparkling yuzu, coconut mousse and tangy mini choux pastries for a bright note.
Frozen profiterole : vanilla ice cream, choice of coulis (chocolate, red berries or passion fruit) and a shower of mini meringues hidden inside.
A veritable sugar firework display, imagined by Loïc Derbay, founder of the house and cabbage artisan since 2013, now at the head of emblematic addresses in Aix and Marseille.
A word of advice: book early. These festive creations sell out... like hotcakes.
