The beautiful season has arrived in La Ciotat, and with it, an agenda that makes you want to miss nothing. Between the lights of the port at nightfall, the scenes that open up facing the sea and the new addresses that enliven the city centre, the city of La Ciotat confirms what its loyal visitors have long known: here, summer has a special taste.

The port comes alive every evening, without exception.

From June 26 to August 30, the Old Port of La Ciotat transforms into a night market as soon as night falls. Local produce, crafts, the aroma of spices and warm lights on the boats make it the unmissable event to soak up the soul of the city, glass of rosé in hand.

An exceptional musical season

La Ciotat is pulsating to the rhythm of a particularly rich musical program this summer. From July 5th to 10th, the International Jazz Festival takes up residence in the city, a highly anticipated edition for which tickets are already available on the online ticketing from the La Ciotat Tourist Office.

On July 11th and 12th, the sea itself serves as the backdrop with The Offshore Stage, a unique format where concerts are held outdoors, between the sky and the Mediterranean.
On the program: Ibrahim Maalouf & The Trumpets of Michel-Ange, and a moving tribute to Barbara.

From July 18 to 26, the Music in the Holidays Festival (which is celebrating its 30th edition this year) takes over the city for a week of concerts mixing classical and contemporary repertoires, in a decidedly festive and popular atmosphere.

Finally, on September 3rd, 4th and 5th, HERE LIVE will close the season in style. The program is yet to be revealed, but the date is already marked: since its creation, the festival has never missed a beat.

New places to discover

La Ciotat is also reinventing itself in terms of commerce and lifestyle. Home Combo is the new address for lovers of beautiful homes: carefully sourced furniture, objects and decor make up a world where it is pleasant to stroll, between favorites and unique pieces. Auguste Meanwhile, it's establishing itself as the place to be right now — a tapas bar and sharing platter in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, overlooking the port. The perfect spot to extend an evening at the market over a few plates. As for The Pétanque WorkshopHe restores the prestige of the most Provençal of sports: engraving, personalization, and custom-made boules, perfect as a gift or a unique souvenir. A beautiful tribute to the identity of La Ciotat.

One summer, a thousand reasons to go.
