Ginevra De Masi

She embodies the magic of classical ballet, sometimes in pointe shoes and a tutu, sometimes the incandescent Carmen, red-clad, voluptuous, her movements firmly rooted to the floor. "I have a foundation in classical dance from which I can express all styles: cabaret, modern, jazz, hip-hop… Movement is more natural to me than words for sharing what I feel, and it's primarily because it touches me deeply that the audience can be moved in turn," explains Ginevra de Masi. The Neapolitan dancer founded the Emotions Arts company on the French Riviera because, beyond entertainment, she wants to create lasting memories. Since 2025, her troupe, composed of about twenty dancers, has performed everywhere from the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo to the Anthéa Theatre in Antibes. Performances at events, tailor-made shows and shows in large venues… performances are also open to soloists.

For Ginevra de Masi, dance began as a game, starting at the age of three. Trained at the Teatro San Carlo Dance School in Naples, she arrived on the Riviera six years ago and collaborated with several companies before creating her own. "I wanted to create my own choreography, share my vision, and work out every detail. I always start with the music and then choose the costumes," explains the Italian dancer. On stage, five dancers achieve such precision that they seem to become one, the result of patient and demanding work. "This profession requires sacrifices, and we're like a family. I even have a twin sister, who is also a dancer, and it's an incredible joy to dance together. In this company, I want everyone to express their personality and talent, without any competition." This is also what allows me, every time I go on stage, to rediscover intact the joy of my beginnings, when I danced as a child."
