Nice will no longer have anything to envy Paris for. On the first floor of Galeries Lafayette on Place Masséna, a space of more than 200 m² has just been completely redesigned: La Galerie, the new temple of fashion by Galeries Lafayette, brings together in one place the best in ready-to-wear and accessories, without leaving the French Riviera.
The visual identity draws inspiration from 30s Parisian apartments: bespoke Carrara marble furniture, a magnificent chandelier, and a Verner Panton conversation sofa. In this setting bathed in natural light, you'll find the most coveted fashion houses of the moment: Miu Miu, Alaïa, Givenchy, Phoebe Philo, Jacquemus, Acne Studios, Toteme, Victoria Beckham, Marni, and Stella McCartney, as well as dedicated spaces within the boutique for Courrèges, Zimmermann, Ami Paris, Rabanne, and Isabel Marant. On the shoe front, Amina Muaddi, Aquazzura, Jimmy Choo, and Golden Goose make their debut in Nice. Most of these brands are exclusive.
To celebrate their 110th anniversary in the heart of Nice, Galeries Lafayette has partnered with the iconic Le Galet beach, a landmark address on the Promenade des Anglais, under the Gusto Family banner. The collaboration will feature branded cushions, exclusive menus, a beach hut, and a selection of Lancaster sun care products, all served by staff in Galeries Lafayette uniforms that change for each shift. The official launch of this partnership will take place on June 25th.
