Marseille is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Euroméditerranée, the vast development project that has profoundly transformed the heart of the Phocaean city. Since 1995, 480 hectares have been redesigned to reconnect the city to the sea, modernize its neighborhoods, and create a sustainable and attractive Mediterranean metropolis. To mark this anniversary, the exhibition “30 years in 30 places” takes over the Docks Village until October 31. Photos, archives, and testimonies recount the evolution of emblematic sites: from the Terrasses du Port to the CMA-CGM and La Marseillaise towers, from the Mucem to the innovative Smart'seille district. Designed with historian Judith Aziza, this retrospective illustrates three decades of metamorphoses, between industrial memory and the city of tomorrow. An invitation to better understand how Marseille has reinvented itself and continues to do so.
