Cassis lights up for the entire month of December, immersing the village in a warm atmosphere where Provençal traditions and festive spirit meet. Christmas marketinstalled until the 21 December Place Baragnon brings together artisans, gourmet treats and local creations in a friendly atmosphere. Santa Claus regularly strolls through the area, accompanied by musical entertainment on weekends.
Every evening, the port is transformed into a magical setting thanks to the projections “Fishermen's houses in artistic lightingvisible until January 4 The facades are transformed into luminous tableaux inspired by Cassis and Provence. The narrow streets and squares of the center are also adorned with illuminations that give the village an irresistible winter charm.
On the cultural front, several exhibitions extend beyond December 4, including The traditions of a Provençal Christmas et Between sea and lightsoffering a sensitive look at local history. Throughout the month, family shows — magic, Corsican songs, pastoral plays — punctuate the program and extend the festive spirit.
To complete the walk, a temporary ice rink open until 1er March invites young and old to enjoy a fun moment outdoors.
