At the crossroads of contemporary creation and the magic of the site, the Château des Baux-de-Provence offers a series of live shows, outdoors, facing the immensity of the Alpilles. Until the end of October, the monument comes alive to the rhythm of voices, bodies, and lights. Theater, stories, dance, performances: every Sunday a unique experience, between sky and stone, designed to surprise, move, and bring together. This Sunday the Château opens to live art in an Indian summer setting. Choreographer and dancer Andrés Garcia-Martinez, with his show Memories of Zaragoza takes us on the trail of her childhood imagination, in the city of Zaragoza in Spain. The movement of traditional dances, the smell of the earth, the horizon and nature are the elements of this quest. Along the way, figures from the origins appear and accompany her: ghosts or companions, they converge towards the birthplace where the dream of a dancer arises: Geneviève Sorin. As for Sunday, October 12, in the building of dreams live characters, not quite like the others: an inventor of Biduleatrucs, a child collector of words, a painter who transforms into paintings the stories that the building whispers to her, and Marcel, the concierge, who tries to understand something about all these reveries. The collective Groupe 444 takes us into the framework of Funny stories, young and old, in his fanciful, joyful and wacky imagination where words dance, where stories run wild, where songs travel: let yourself be told, and your dreams will come to life!
