La rue Paradis

  • Son renouveau, son énergie !

The Marseille shopper’s paradise is abuzz with fresh energy. New boutiques are opening, existing ones expanding.
Rue Paradis, Marseille’s second-longest street at 2870m, is attracting more retail businesses than ever. And Lulli, the high-end multibrand women’s fashion store with a shop already at No. 32, has opened another at No. 523. «It’s an opportunity for us to reach a new clientele, quite different to the one at the other end of the street,» says Anne Voulard, the concept store’s founder. The new shop also offers new brands: Isabelle Marant Etoile and K. Jacques, for example. At the other end of the street, Bonton has opened a new 310m2 kiddies’ concept store, with sections for gifts, stationery, clothing, home decor and furniture, spread around two floors.

Not just textiles
Although fashion is the linchpin, Rue Paradis has much else to offer too. The designer furniture distributor Silvera has just opened a 200m2 space there, its first showroom in the south of France, with a major focus on Italian contemporary furniture by Minotti. Silvera’s extremely high-end offering is further proof that Rue Paradis is now, more than ever, the place for luxury shopping in Marseille.
